Web Design

The more time I spend creating custom web design layouts the more I realize less is truly more.  Some of the best websites that I have designed, at least those with the highest conversion rates and low bounce rates have been very simple.   I get clients telling me all the time to make it "pop".  Ummm ok.    Please please don't ask your web developer to make your web design pop.  That is a buzz word that needs to be shot and hung out to dry ten years ago.  I design websites that accurately reflect the uniqueness of the business that has hired me as their web designer.  I love it when clients take my custom web design and "tweek it" until it becomes exactly like the Wordpress template they had in mind.  Ahhh there you go... Just right.  Basically the purpose of this post is to ask people to let their web designer do what he or she does best.  They can create a web experience for your users that should convert visitors into clients and accomplish your goals.  Just remember if you get in the way of that you may suffer in the end.  Even if you do want you dog to be talking on the home page as part of the logo that "pops".  Just remember to smile and act like you understand.  We love you anyway!
